The Mercedes C63 and GT have the sound because they where launch before the Euro 6 rules this Maserati has to be on Euro 6 rules so the low sound, but nothing that a strait pipe cant change!

Brilliant, its always good to hear from someone who 'gets' the 4C. The car appears in the intro of all my videos. If I were Maserati, I will make an aftermarket exhaust available to all who purchase this car. The legal department will have to work out how this could be done.

Great review. IMHO the Alfa 4C is the MC20s little brother based on technical specifications, similar tub, styling cues etc. Was in line for a MC20 but I'll keep my 4C and put my money towards at 992GT3

Gorgeous design. Just beautiful! Shame about its engine note. Put a V8 in it and it would be a much more interesting. That C8 Corvette you just drove had the amazing engine note and compiled with emissions so no excuses for Maserati on the sound front

You sound bored out of your mind lol but I guess that's the problem with the newer supercars. No engine noise, lacks character and too easy to drive which is why I'm falling in love again with the 458's and LP700's of the world. Last of their kind.

Very good and honest review! This car is the natural evolution of the 4c. Alfa would have probably done a better job but this is still a very cool car. Needs a better exhaust but the car is appealing to me. Would not trade my 4c for it bit would definitely buy it. Thanks for the review 888mf

I been binge watchin your reviews an again your spot on . great looking really really nice looking in fact but the V6 ...like when they put the V6 in the Jaguar xj220 instead of the v12 of course theres the new Ford GT v6 but still its always a risk

Alfa 4c chassis was not used for this. A simple search shows both carbon chassis are totally different.
