Bail granted to principal and teacher facing assault charges

A 25-year-old principal and 23-year-old educator from Lydenburg Islamic Centre appeared before the Lydenburg Magistrate court.
The two man are facing five counts of assault after a 10-year-old pupil was hospitalised. The pupil was admitted to hospital and had to undergo an operation. It's alleged the boy was beaten up by the principal last week after failing a test. The two are out on bail.
