This is by far my favorite Lion Steel. It is so nice looking and it is the right size for a more of a Gentleman carry. Way out of my budget but I will have to get one of these at some point one year soon. I like the blue the most for sure.

man this thing is beautiful. I love the way the spine melts into the handle sides

I guess it depends on what you term "new innovations." I personally think they're to the point in the knife industry where they're improving and embellishing in order to make a better mousetrap. A knife is there to perform cutting tasks and there are thousands already in production that get the job done exquisitely. That said, I love seeing the creativity and genius that goes into make a better mousetrap. I saw some designs from Gavin Hawk that were immense. The Spyderco Domino was stellar too.

Hard questions today.... I'm not sure. I would bet that if it is sufficiently popular, it could become a regular in the Lion Steel line. I honestly think it has that kind of potential. I was very impressed with the whole thing. Very elegant. Gorgeous.

That Aussie government is intense. Sorry to hear it's hard to get folders there. I'm carrying a Benchmade mini-grip today and a Leatherman Squirt... you're a lot classier than I am with your EDC! What I carry really reflects the idea that a knife is a cutting tool; I'm not likely to need something super high-speed. Plus, my EDC reflects my budget. Someday when I'm rich and famous (and my wife's out of the house), I'm going to buy a Sebenza and love it. For now, I don't own a knife over $100.

I can't pick which color I want! I'm leaning towards one of the matte finish. The polished are gorgeous, very jewel-like, but too shiny for me I think. Maybe not.

I really like the more muted finish get some of those and I'll buy one!

absolutely - several of their creations are ones I would never have thought of in a million years. An example of what I would not consider original or innovative would be "IKBS"

To me, it is somewhere between a gentleman's folder and a fantisy knife.Let's see more Benchmade, Spyderco, and Tops knives. Thank's Blade H .Q.for all of your post's. BRING BACK THE #42 . I'll pay D.B.!

Does it open pretty smoothly? Meaning is it easy to open one handed/flick open? I had a preorder in on the bronze one, but if what you are calling bronze is that gold one from the video I need to reconsider. Love the muted ones best.

that "star" pattern is a slightly altered version of a quickly accessible setting within many CAM solutions. Not a fan of how often, one knife maker will get credit for something when so many of those concepts are simply obvious choices when making a knife.

I wish I knew. If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on somewhere in the next 2-3 months. All I know is that it's going to be a super hot item.

Maybe don't settle on just one. Get them all! :)
