Yeah, All Syar Brawl didn't fail, it succeeded. The devs were given a budget equal to the Nickelodeon Kart Racer games and their sales far succeeded it. They're even producing the sequel now, hopefully with a higher budget from Nickelodeon.

All Star Brawl 2 was just announced and is already 10x better so my belief is all development for the first game instantly dropped before the last DLC. The first game already had two impossible hurdles at launch; released the same week as Smash Ultimate revealed Sora as the final character and the announcement of Multiversus.

Honestly, I'm glad this game wasn't free like Multiversus. I'd rather pay for a game up front than have to go through dozens of microtransactions to get more content.

Also take into account Sora was announced to be the final DLC character for Ultimate. The hype for his inclusion overshadowed a lot of things at the tine

Seriously it took ONE Disney character getting into Smash Bros., to essentislly kill off an entire nickelodeon crossover game.

It failed to maintain an audience because it wasn't good. Plain and simple. Sequel was better, but sadly failed to gather much initial interest because the 1st game tainted the name

Yeah, they added full voice acting quite a while ago. They didn't half bake the voice acting either. They got as many of the original voice actors as they could. Tom Kenny, Frank Welker, Jim Cummings, Billy West, Cam Clarke, Townsend Coleman, to name a few.

This little update sounds like really something. I'm looking forward to see where this goes before the actual DLC pack comes since coming back to play Xenoverse 2 and managing to do the stuff in the first Festival of Universes.

Hopefully the next DLC pack and the next Festival of Universes will be exciting and have our hopes up.
