A 6x6 Argo vs Alaskan Mud

In this video we needed to transport some building materials to a remote cabin construction site. Unfortuantly we waited until after breakup, and the trail became almost unpassable. Thanks to our Argo, we were able to trailer the supplies in.

I don't even take the tracks off mine. The second set of (6) tires I built a 3 axle trailer which also pulls a LOT easier in mud and muskeg. Almost never been stuck and likely had 1500 lbs on the trailer a number of times bringing materials into remote hunt shack build. Lotta fun!

This was useful to see both the limits and capabilities of the Argo.

Put tracks on it and you will see how impressive it can be, beyond all expectations. Just saying as an owner of a 8x8 with tracks.

Putting tracks on it would definitely help

Not sure who taught them how to corduroy a road, but you sink the logs down in a little bit so they don't kick up when you drive over them.

The guy doing the filming sounds like Norm MacDonald lol.

Argo would be happy to sell you some tracks.

Put the accessory tracks on them and they go almost anywhere.

U should put some big rims and tires on the trailer for clearance maybe it'll go threw the trails much easier?😅

Thanks for the video. Seems like a winch sponsorship would pay off.

Only an Argo can do that pretty amazing machines. I am ordering a 8x8 Frontier they have a rebate on them right now.

Those things are never stuck. Is that a vaguard? Doesn't look like a bigfoot. We have the, 8x8 conquest. I prefer my quad but dad loves the 8x, 8

Only a 23HP motor with a 6x6? Apparently it is enough but it just seems small for what it suppose to do.

As cool as those are. I had an 8x8 and it got stuck everywhere.

If the Brown bear doesn't knock you out of the cart and eat you, he will definitely get you walking home. Rides like a rototiller and floats like a turd.

Appears Argo hasn't updated their website in 5 years. They must be out of business.

For the money I would try to find a Coot, they were what the Argos wished they could be. They were made with Tecumseh motors and had a two piece body that was hinged in the middle and they could float too. Saw them go over stuff like this when my Grandfather had his, they were awesome and a lot cheaper than the Argos.
