Thanks but this isnt very useful in the real world. Using this method you have to wipe out all existing cell shading in a document to impose a dark theme. If you then share the file with someone else you have to reverse it again.
This method only works for new documents you create from now on and wont share with anyone else. Also this is really just one method, not two

MS needs to do this right, when creating a new sheet the theme should be considered for the cells, too. This is ignorance on their part.
