All I see is all that traffic! Yuck! Traffic drives me nuts! Props to you dealing with it everyday in the L.A. area. Plus, it's true what you say about getting a performance car. I have bought more cars than I really should have, but there is definitely alot more to think about outside of just the car payments. $600/month on your SRT is extremely good actually. You must have put money down because they usually run more than that per month. Of course finance rates changes alot of things. If you are young, under 25, expect over $200/month for car insurance. Most likely much more unless you are on your parents insurance (which you should not be). If you are looking at a $50k+ car, you should be paying all your own bills and on your own. I was 100% on my own living 1000 miles away from nearest family right after college graduation at 21 years old. Much respect to all those that went on similar path to me and for those who didn't, I still send love to you too. Everyone has a different story and situation and that needs to be respected too!
