Fried Bologna Sandwich
RECIPE COURTESY OF KATIE LEE
Level: Easy
Total: 15 min
Active: 15 min
Yield: 1 sandwich

Ingredients

2 slices soft white sandwich bread, such as Wonder Bread
Mayonnaise, for spreading
Yellow mustard, for spreading
4 thin slices bologna (preferably nitrate-free and pork)
Unsalted butter, for the skillet
2 slices American cheese
2 tablespoons chow chow
1/2 cup BBQ potato chips
1/2 cup shredded iceberg lettuce

Directions

Spread one slice of bread with mayonnaise and the other slice with yellow mustard.

Heat a medium skillet or griddle pan over medium-high heat. Make a 1-inch X in the center of each piece of bologna to keep it from curling up in the skillet. Wipe the skillet with a stick of butter until lightly greased. Add the bologna and fry a couple of minutes on each side until browned. Stack up the bologna in the skillet and top with the cheese. Cover with a large inverted bowl and heat until melted.

Transfer the bologna to one of the slices of bread. Top with the chow chow, potato chips and lettuce. Top with the other slice of bread and give it a little push to crush the potato chips down a bit. Enjoy immediately.

She making something that's been around for years. I grew up on those 2 or 3 fried Bologna sandwiches, chips and a nice, cold glass of Cherry Limeade Kool-Aid 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Alternate way to do this. Hold the lettuce, chips, and chow chow. Don't melt the cheese on top of the bologna as you fry it up. Instead, put the cheese on each slice of bread, after you fry up the bologna, lay one slice on each slice of bread. Mush that sandwich together. Put more butter on the skillet and fry up the sandwiches 1-2 minutes, then flip and repeat. Keep everything else the same. That's how I like 'em.

Words can't describe... Sonny. Everything she says, she's trying to make it a meme or a hashtag - but it NEVER works. She tries way too hard. It's painful. There's been a few rare moments when she's been real, and those are great - and one other video I watched the other day, she said something and it got laughter, and she said 'Oh, y'all think THAT was funny?' - which clearly shows she is trying too hard, and if she were to just relax and be herself, it would naturally be funny/lovable.
