I really love this movie. When I saw the heartbreaking truth, what really happened in the liqour store, my heart went cold. Amazing film.

Very enjoyable but the plot has few surprises. What really makes it work are the family relationships and especially the contrasting parental roles. Frank is on death row, has little time and can't spend enough of it with his daughter and wife, whom he loves. Steve is on the outside, has all the time in the world but would rather be anywhere else than with his family. Moral of the story, cherish all the time you have with the ones you love. A theme Eastwood works through in many on his later career films.

This was a really good movie. It was eerie and more so as it went along. Good acting and solid performances all around. It didn’t perform well and I could never figure out why. I enjoyed it very much.

The film was a big flop in theater, of course, considering the topics that talk about, but is one of his great films

لم أرى مثل هذا " الأسطورة العالمي الكبير : كيت إيستوود " منذ بداية ظهوره الاول في أفلام " السينما العالمية الاجنبية الجميلة والرائعة والسعيدة جداً القديمة " في أفلام " الكابوي : الغرب الأمريكية " لكنه ما زال صامداً هذا العملاق حتى في " الألفية الثانية الحديثة " يمثل ويخرج أفلام " السينما العالمية الاجنبية الجميلة والرائعة والسعيدة جداً الحديثة " لا يكّل ولا يمّل من تقديم الروائع اللوحات الفنية الجميلة والرائعة والسعيدة جداً ، فإذا كان لا يستطيع التمثيل مع تقدم العمر قدّم غيره من خلال أفلامٍ أخرجها بنفسه لهم .

Just ordered this movie from Walmart...

remember to buy DVDs so that way you're in control and then six months in the future after you watch the movie and want to show it to her friend they don't charge you a dollar 99 for one tenth of a cent electricity from their server!
