Ed Sheeran sent a virtual avatar of himself to roam Leicester Square, London - where he shocked some unsuspecting fans.

Ed’s in complete control of our LADbible Avatar Man - telling him where to go, who to speak to and what to do. He sneaks into the Lego Store, gets mobbed by a crowd of delighted fans, and gets heckled by a few people who don’t like his music at all…

Ed can see everything Avatar Man can see, while a live feed of Ed’s face is beamed directly into Leicester Square.

This video was filmed before Ed tested positive for COVID.
