These sorts of videos that have been popular recently are strange.

1) These sorts of locks are not meant to be permanent barriers, just severely hamper a burglar, and in fact can only be locked from the inside.
2) if you can reach your hand in, you can unlock the door without necessarily having the gadget or gizmo

Put glass in front of the door if u hear it fall then.... or put a tripwire there when u enter home and put it back when u make sure the house is secure

They aren't going to pick open your front door in view of your neighbours, they will pick open your back door without this in place, or will remove the window pain or smash it
