In February, Alex Hutchings 🎸, Anton Davidyants 🎸 (bass), Tomasz Bura 🎹 (keyboards), and Gergo Borlai 🥁 (drums) were in my Istanbul studio 🎙 recording the fourth album — a vibrant fusion of prog rock, jazz, blues/soul, and classical 🎶.

Watching these four virtuosos in perfect synch — with deep musicality, intuitive body knowledge, and an almost sacred camaraderie 🤝 — was nothing short of riveting 🔥.

There’s one track where Alex plays just a few notes on the orchestral intro, and it’s utterly ethereal ✨. Goosebumps. 🫣

And when it came to the technically demanding parts? He didn’t just play them — he crushed them 💥. Not just at the speed of sound 🚀, but with stunning clarity and control 🎯.

The taste and the soul of Carlton, Ritenour...there's even a bit of Clapton, IMO. Truly beautiful! The technique is flawless, of course, but it is at the service of musical expression, not the other way around, as too often happens in music today. A guy who has something to say. Thank you Alex.
