The way this is animated is so good, you get that first intense hit with the crazy impact frame, then the speed ramps up and the full sfx kick in. Great way to show the exertion, power, and speed behind each individual punch. Simply godlike.

Incredible how the same guy who animated Luffy’s Jet Gatling against Lucci is the same guy who did this scene here of Luffy using Kong Gatling.

Im pretty sure this was his last scene too before he decided to retire from animating and do storyboards

Wow the subtitles look incredible. They’re closer to the actual Japanese translation than the toei animation company brought. Even as small as “GUTS” rather than “MY GUTS”. Your translation even resembles that of the original manga also. Great work and amazing quality too.
