Got it working on an old Windows 10 machine (HP, Intel Core i7-7700) running HyperV . It crashed a couple of times on the setup, but I finally got through the initial setup and was able to create a Mac machine account. Thanks! First time I got a VM Mac to work - my main machine is a Mac, but setup as dual boot, so if I try to write software on it (from the Windows side), the development tools require a live Mac on the network -so it put me in a catch-22, though I supposed I could have picked up an old Mac laptop, instead.
