I can’t believe it, I seriously still can’t. I still remember being at a Best Buy and looking at the gorgeous Baten Kaitos cover wondering how a video game cover could be so gorgeous and mystique, wondering which beautiful adventure I was gonna have once I arrived home to play it. Then they both became my two all-time favorite video games. And 20 years later after no news, no posts, no releases and a very small fandom, we get this dream come true!!! I thought both games were gonna be forgotten, but here they are, I’m so glad the rumors were true!!! 🐋🐋🐋

I literally cried for that ahah. The story and characters are really good. The music is peak Motoi Sakuraba soundtrack. The pre-rendered background art style is so beautiful. Those were games ahead of their time. :)

This has been a dream come true. I have been hoping to get a sequel/remaster of this beautiful gem of a game for ages. IT is my absolute favorite. One day my mother brought it home and I was angry cause I wanted to play pikmin 2, but I tried it and it's universe captured my mind, it's music became central to my life (Motoi Sakuraba) and, after her passing, this series has become her living legacy. I cried of joy when I saw it. I cannot contain my excitement. ❤️

Baten Kaitos is a world record holder for longest 100% speedrun at over 400 hours. The first game came on two gamecube discs. These madlads remastered 1 AND 2. I never thought I'd ever see the day this IP got a whisper of recognition let alone an entire switch remaster!!!

I lost my MIND when this started up. I had these games growing up and my sisters and I loved them. I had lost hope that these games would ever be touched again, even after Sagi and Millie were made as spirits for Smash. Thank you for bringing this pair of games back to life. I cannot express very well just how hyped I am for this, other than I'm more hyped for it than Tears of the Kingdom. And I'm a big Zelda fan! Getting this day 1, especially if there's going to be a physical version!!
