"Neurodivergent people should use neopronouns and you should accept it or you're ableist" Saying that in itself is quite ableist and hypocritical. I have high functioning autism (aka Aspergers) I could never use a neopronoun ever. I'm a girl, simple as that.

Y’all are making the English language even more complicated

i have a much lower-functioning brain than a lot of the average population, and neopronouns are very difficult for me to actually use, even simple one's like xey/xem, or de/dem cause my brain to fry trying to use them in a conversation. adding nounself pronouns in makes it even harder, because talking I struggle a lot in and adding confusing words I have to remember and use makes it even worse. i am not ableist because i dont use neopronouns.

That claim makes neurodivergence seem like a cult. As an autistic person, I would never use someone's nounself pronouns and that isn't my problem.

No one's gonna call you kitten/kittenself or kawai/kawaiself it makes no sense. Like the only valid pronouns are the ones that have he/him, she/her, they/them. Like it/itself, like are you not a person anymore?

Well, it gives the crazy kids something to argue about. Cool

At least I know I'm not the only one who doesn't know how to use neo pronouns o-o

Im diagnosed autism, gender dysphoria, anxiety and depression. These neopronouns are bullshit! Not only do they not make any grammatical sense, they make my anxiety go through the roof.

i felt kinda transphobic for not being able to use neopronouns (i never met someone using them so its a hypothetical for me) but like.. english is my third language and i m autistic (technically undiagnosed but still). i dont think its my problem. they/them, even it/its - be my guest. clown/clownself - i m sorry but no just no.

As an autistic person, I hate when people do that. It’s just soft ableism

Autistic people use these pronouns more often because it’s more common to feel distant from gender and inhuman, many of people with autism actually see gender differently. That’s why neopronouns are associated with neurodivergent people. I say this as someone with autism

This isn’t very inclusive of people like me. How do you expect somebody with short term memory issues and a TBI to remember all of this and comprehend it is ableist. I don’t understand what all this neurodivergent talk is trying to do but being born a genius and becoming severely disabled after a TBI is neurodivergent.

Pronouns don't conjugate, but okay.
