There needs to be consequences for the senate leader refusing to fulfill their oath and refusing to do their job as outlined in the constitution. It is the duty of the Senate to hold hearings and a vote on the nominees for appointments by the president. McConnell has done at least as much as trump to destroy the US as a democratic republic.
