Seems respectful to the actual events and people involved. It would've been extremely easy and typical of Hollywood to make the international rescuers look like heroes and the Thai authorities and soldiers look like incompetent, bumbling fools who only got in the way. Or at best make them background noise like in The Impossible (2012). Ron Howard and crew seem to understand it wasn't like that, everyone just wanted to get the job done and get the boys out of there. Everyone contributed to the success of that mission.

Those who rescued them are hero’s but the trainer was also one. Keeping all the kids "sane" during something like this.

I want the Russian leader to see the movie Thirteen Lives about how people have to live.

I saw 13 Lives before I watched The Rescue (Outstanding documentary on Disney+) and as much as I loved the movie I wondered if a few things were overdramatized. After watching the documentary, absolutely NOTHING was overdramatized; it truly is a miracle they managed to get the entire team out.

So even when Brits are essentially the heroes in a movie, they are secondary to "the spirit of the people"? I'm sure it was the same spirit that made those Brits spearhead one of the most dangerous cave rescues of all time.

I don't think I could like this story. Becuse back then already and It has not changed for me, I think it wrong there were no consequences for causing 2 people's death.
