GoPro HERO6 | Unboxing

In this video I unbox the new GoPro HERO6 Camera. First impressions are good but it doses not look much different then the HERO5. I will have a full review coming in the next few days where we explore the new features like Quikstories and better stabilization along with new frame rates like 4K 60 and 1080p 240. I am working on the review right now so if there are things you want to see tested leave them in the comments below.

Looking forward to your Hero 6 reviews; I am really interested in quick stories. I have two 5s which I will most likely be selling on ebay after getting two 6s; I really love the voice control BTW as it really acelerated my one-man videoing.

I have a Hero5 and I can't justify the expense of an upgrade that could be done with firmware. I don't use it the same way all these sportspeople do, maybe put it on my car during a cruise or something... I don't have the editing gubbins to make a pro clip, but I don't need to either. I hate quikstories because it tries to punctuate everything I've recorded and miss out bits that I want to add in myself. I like to do my own editing. I see the 6 as identical to the 5 with a few more firmware features.

Since all the FPS were double does it record at 720p at 480 FPS, that would be double of the Hero 4 Black?

LOL!! I remember the 4k 60fps chip is from like 2015/2016.
It has been out for that long. I dont remember the name right now, but in theory you can build your own camera with the chip that they use.
Again.. Dont remember the name of the company that makes the chips right now.

probably a silly question but would my Lexar 633x that is 64GB work with the new Hero 6 or would I have to upgrade? If so, what would you recommend? TIA
