Encoding and Decoding w Matrices

Yesterday I studied inverse matrix from a textbook (not as a student but just to acquire knowledge) and did manual calculations. Today morning, I was thinking of it's usage in real life and then realized that we can use it for encoding and decoding of a message. So, my curiosity brought me to your channel. Now I feel that I can apply my theoretical knowledge of inverse matrix practically. Its fun actually. Thank you for showing the examples beautifully. But try to use less of calculators. Manual calculations are the best way to explain and teach.

How to get the key if I am a third person wants to decode the message??

I have the newest casio fx-82au plus II calculator and i have no idea how to use matrix in that calculator, do u by any chance know how?

Thanks but I have a question.. What if the number is not even I mean for example word "hard work" =8 1 18 4 0 23 15 18 11
Which matrix will be formed here, are we going to ignore the 0 or what?

So if there is an odd number of letter, add a 0 as a place holder
