lol In the old version of Youtube, I can let videos stream until the end with no problems during playback. Today's youtube lets me stream to the end but skipping or rewinding will make it lose the cached stream. Frustrating in long videos like this one. Good job on linking the different times on the description, it is very helpful.

Another handy trick for that "side loading" of apk files is to use a apk distribution app that will do the whole process for you like Aptoide. The app will download the apk for you and install it. You still have top allow 3rd party files in the settings but this will reduce the time you spend searching for and obtaining the apks.
