The PRE is my absolute favorite breed. The Arabian is a close 2nd. But PREs simply take my breath away with the graceful way they move.

Omg I was so excited to see this on my youtube subs! I saw this show myself a few years ago and got to meet some of the horses afterwards, it was a wonderful experience that I’d highly recommend. Plus, Andalusia is a beautiful part of the world with great food ^^

As a PRE owner I must say I was a little disappointed that you didn’t acknowledge the differense between a PRE and an andalusian. The PRE has a closed studbook. The bloodlines can be traced for years and years. To breed one you have to be certified and to own one aswell.

An andalusian can be basiaclly any iberian horse. Not to say andalusians are ”bad”. But it is kind of the same this as saying a doodle is a pure breed.

A PRE is registered. An andalusian is not :)

I have heard of the Andalusian for a very long time and it’s great to see them thriving well in Spanish culture are you thinking about exploring the Kathiawari soon? They’re a close cousin to the Marwari as well as exploring Russian horse breeds?

It is one of the possibilities to enhance other breeds.
I personally love Frisian horses, but they tend to have some inbreeding.
With the correct (andalusian) stallion they might get a flux of extra that can bring them (also) to an even higher level in sport and endurance.

That was what draw my interest.
A girl from college had a couple of Andalusian horses that almost never got good in endurance.
Untill a heatwave struck the Netherlands, and where other horses HAD to stop, they started to go even better, Vet. checks brought no issues, so they could proceed. And ended very high in ranking.

THAT is a thing I want to bring in the Frisians too (or again)

Do you have an outfit that you could recommend and specifically one that has well schooled & mannered Andalusians? I don't have a particular desire to ride on the beach. THX!!
