Highlights of the First Days of the Berlinale | Berlinale 2023

On February 16, the start of the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival was celebrated in the Berlinale Palast.

A number of prominent German and international politicians and ambassadors, the International Jury as well as the Encounters jury, the GWFF Best First Feature Award jury, the jury of the Berlinale Documentary Award, members of the International Short Film Jury, and the Festival Management Mariëtte Rissenbeek and Carlo Chatrian attended the event.
Hadnet Tesfai and Jo Schück were the hosts of the evening.

The opening film, the world premiere of Rebecca Miller’s "She Came to Me", screening as Berlinale Special Gala, was shown directly after. The director and her film team introduced the film in the Berlinale Palast.

You are doing a great job guys, freedom of expression is the key of everything, freedom to put there on cinema screens any criminal fantasy in order to let us have our true human safety in the real life, nobody must get hurt...just creative, fans are always here to backup you guys, helping artists pull out the best, never give up enjoying these movie happenings as something to improve ourselves each other because we become...competitors and same time partners in business. Let them web technologies work for you and bring world wide movie happenings, creating jobs welfare and a lot of political support for all of us, since the Jesus Christ's ages, social justice was a very high tough ambition and...we are working in progress friends, you are not alone Ok?

I want to be on a Berlinale so much. I'm Karol Skolmowski and i'm 24 years old. Nothing work in my life, never ! I don't have a mature exam, i don't have a work and driving license and i living with my parents. I'm fed up with everything. I have a personality disorders due to my experiences with my toxic parents. I've never been to anyone's party in someone's home and never slept somewhere. Because of my toxic parents, i've never been anywhere abroad. I want to go on a Berlinale so much. I don't have a journalist bachelour diploma, i don't have a journalist education and occupation, but i really want to be on a festiwal. I would like to become a personal correspondent in the press office. I'm not a media representative pearson. I'm looking for a job in film editirial critic office, but every editirial office rejected me. I'm sorry for writing so late, but i didn't have the strength to write earlier. I want to live so much, despite everything, a full life and because of my parents i can't. I feel terrible, I've never had anything in my life. I would give anything to appear at the festival. I'm disabled and i walk on crutches. I'm walking on a psychoterapy for a nine years. I fight every day to stop mentally cutting myself, I'm working on myself .I'm looking for a job, I work as a volunteer in the radio, i'm free listener in Physics, this year i'm passing my matriculation exam in Mathematics for the sixth time. I'm learning piano online. I would like to learn how to make tattoos and play music on the DJ console. I eager want to watch movie from festival.
