UNBELIEVABLE Prices for These Iconic Star Wars Collectibles!
5. Star Wars Issue #1 (Marvel Comics, 1977): This is the first issue of the original Star Wars comic book series by Marvel. In 2017, Heritage Auctions sold a copy for $23,900 (and they only get pricier from here).
4. Vinyl Cape Jawa (Kenner, 1978): This rare variant was only produced for a short time before the vinyl cape was replaced with a cloth one. In 2019, a French release Vinyl Cape Jawa auctioned for $32,450.
3. Darth Vader w/Double-Telescoping Lightsaber (Kenner, 1978): This action figure is notable for its unique double-telescoping lightsaber. Though the idea looked good on paper, the design was quickly discontinued due to production difficulties. In 2018, a Darth Vader w/Double-Telescoping Lightsaber auctioned for $64,900.
2. Obi-Wan Kenobi w/Double-Telescoping Lightsaber (Kenner, 1978): Not to be outdone by his former apprentice, Master Kenobi held on to his 2017 record of auctioning for $76,700.
1. Rocket-Firing Boba Fett Prototype (Kenner, 1979): This is one of the rarest and most sought-after Star Wars action figure prototypes; due to safety concerns, the rocket-firing mechanism was never included in the final product. In 2022, a rocket-firing Boba Fett prototype auctioned for $204,435.
