A year ago this morning my wonderful dad passed away. The last 24 hours were rough as he struggled to breathe and the nurses tried to make him comfortable; he was unconscious but I know he could hear. I played all his favorite music--Sully's Theme, the Hoppers' Jerusalem, and this whole Alan Jackson Christmas album, over and over. He loved Alan's voice and his night was made if Alan made a guest appearance on the Gaither Gospel Hour. Alan's voice sang my dad out of this world and into the next and I know it brought him peace. A year later I'm listening to it again as I remember my dad. Thank you, Mr Jackson.

I like it too just it brings back memories of when I was homeless in Nashville in 2019. Still wish I could have seen him too but they wouldn't let me inside his bar so I just listened outside and went back to the park I stayed at near the library sometimes other artists came out near the park or some playing music or giving out food and sleeping bags and winter weather things.
