I had removed this tomato cutting and just put it in a container of water and only replaced the evaporated water. I noticed it had a tomato on it so I decided to pot it in soil

Wow so cool. Look at those roots! Amazing! I hope the stems I just cut off and put in water will do just as well. Would love to see what happens with this one in due time. Very cool and thanks very much for your help. Some of the stems I cut have flowers on them so I am hoping I can get them to grow like you have. Excellent!

I did get a tomato from that plant but I don't know if it was just me but my tomatoes really didn't ripen for some reason this year. The sun gold cherry tomatoes are always the best though.
