Hello friends,
and welcome to another classic song tutorial. In today's session we are paying homage to the now late, great Fats Domino by learning his 1956 smash hit "Blueberry Hill." I'll take you through an acoustic guitar arrangement of the tunes iconic intro, and the riffs, chord progressions and strumming options for the verse and chorus sections. Let's get started!

For anyone who doesn't yet know - He is a real good teacher. Teaches the stuff that makes the song sound great and passes on some theory as He teaches the song.

What a beautiful old Song… My Dad just passed, he loved Fats Domino and was a young man in his twenties when this Song came out in 1956.
Thank you Rob, for this beautiful Cover and lesson!

I have to play this for a friend tonight in memory of her grandmother who died recently and this was her favourite song. So I had to learn it quickly rather than sit and work it out. Your precise instruction was very helpful and I got it straight away - I especially appreciated the bridge with the major seventh etc. Many thanks I will tell her about who I got it off.

Thanks Rob! Amazing how much more interesting the song becomes when you add those bass lines and chromatic descent on the B.

I have listened to many teachers, I have yet to find a teacher that teaches the style of music that I love. Not only that, I am learning not only the songs but I am not only grasping the pentatonic scales, but in a way that actually makes sense. I am a much older learner, low end intermediate player, I now don't have to play by the seat my pants. I am a Patreon supporter. And I would add if there anyone that is taking this seriously this young man is giving us all this priceless information. He deserves so much more than I can afford right now. My intention is to go up soon in my tier level. Thank you, I can't tell you how much I look forward to each video and spend hours in my little studio, working it out until I can play your lessons fluently. Five bucks a month for all this? "WH-A-AT?"

I don't think there is ANY song you could not make possible on your guitar. This one I wouldn't ever think was possible - but you did it amazingly enough! Thanks for your great work - love it!

Of all subjects on YouTube, you are the best teacher! This is the second song I am learning from you. It took me a few hours to get the first line done yesterday and here I am back again to learn another line. You do a great job of breaking down such complex songs so a novice guitar player like myself can learn! Keep it up!

we distinguish blues from rhythm & blues with the addition of "complex poly-rhythms and asymetric time patterns" -- while Merle and Chet were amazing, they couldn't, and perhaps no one, could add these patterns on guitar alone. Great job here showing this complexity.

Man, that sounds good. Awesome job! I've been playing 20-plus years and still can't master picking. Enjoyed listening.

I like that you do a version of each song right at the beginning--I'm a fast learner so I just need to see someone play it, and you play really well
Nice video, great arrangement
