This song is so much deeper than people could imagine! Oh Prince, I just hope you're ok in the place the elevator took you to.

Truly a masterpiece in every way and I'm not a big Prince fan (yet).
Seriously, the gtr solo is perfectly legible even for a deaf guy, and it's not overdone with effects to cover potential mistakes.

I'm extremely embarrassed, I had no idea this was a Prince song.
The fact the the first time I heard this song was in Sing 2 when it came out and I absolutely loved it. That was more than a year ago and I still didn't know.
You know what's funny? Not so long ago, a few hours ago I was trying to listen to Prince songs and being honest, I didn't like any, and I said to myself: "Nah, Prince doesn't do music I like at all. I don't know why people say he is amazing." that's why I don't know much about him, just that he was the "rival" of MJ. And so, I started listening to MJ songs again, then the Struts song "could've been me" appeared on recommendation and then this song (the Sing 2 version). So I decided to look for the lyrics. But, this video said "Prince" in the title and I was like: "WHAT?!" I kept scrolling down because I thought perhaps there was an error on this video, but then I saw the official video and...embarrassment is an underestimate of what I currently feel.
I'm sorry Prince, you did really good music.

This isn't prince singing this is actually Bruno Mars. They got it from the 2017 Grammy awards. They brought the original the time and Bruno to portray prince cause prince overdosed and died the year prior
