If you guys had 2-4 videos a month you would have a million subscribers by the end of the year. You guys are that good.

Please don’t ever quit this. I’m at work in Maryland hiding in the bathroom wishing I had the opportunity to do soemthing awesome like this. being stuck in a job with 10 days of vacation all year with no holidays off really depresses me. I love seeing you all live out an amazing experience, and hope one day I may get to live a small fraction of how you all do. Thank you for these videos.

My brother was in the Navy. About halfway through his enlistment, he started talking about wanting to do this as soon as he got out. We planned to be finishing right around now. But, we'll never get the chance to start. Cherish what you have.

You may not notice it, or maybe you do, but your dad is very proud of you and cares about you a lot. Dad's don't show that much emotion but that "I love ya bud text me when you get there" means a lot. Or maybe I'm just overthinking cause I didn't have that a whole lot.

I am a veteran and you just made me proud when I watched you raise the flag in the middle of nowhere. For that I will start following you plus I’m enjoying all of this wishing I was young enough to do it

I came for the wit, singing, wisdom, friendship and feats of adventure. Left with a feeling of accomplishment. Till next time, I will stare in anticipation at my black screen. waiting...

I'm posting this on several of your videos in case you may come back to read comments. Maybe this would help with the loads you struggle to carry in to the cabin. Consider acquiring something called a SnowDog which runs on tracks and can pull multiple sleds of equipment over snow or dry terrain (trails), mud, etc. They are compact enough to put in the back of a car (SUV) and certainly a pickup. I am sure it/they could be transported in your boat, then pull it/them out and use it/them to get to and haul your stuff to the cabin. As I said, they run on tracks. They are lightweight enough you can lift it around if it gets stuck in snow or mud. They have just introduced an electric model to the line of combustion engines. They have various models which could easily suit your purpose of moving materials to the cabin without breaking your back. I think the ability to pull your things in over dry terrain/trails, as well as snow would be of great benefit. I have seen the SnowDog used in a youtube channel called Outdoor Boys.

Many put a sled like thing behind it and stand in that while running it - and attach another sled behind the one you are standing in, which can contain the materials you are moving to the cabin. So much easier than slogging thru the dry trail on foot lugging your materials or breaking trail in the snow. They start new at $3700 up to about $5500 with the electric one going for $7500. Perhaps you could even find a used one.

Forty years ago, stationed at Eielson AFB, I did all of these things that you young men are doing now. Three wars, age and arthritis now prevent me from doing anything other than watching you and dreaming of the past.

Given that it rains so frequently, a simple water catchment set up would be a nice addition.
