Paula Yoo: My Reading Life as a Child

The moment Author Paula Yoo finished E. B. White's Charlotte's Web when she was in 1st grade, she knew she had to be a writer. From there, she made hundreds of little stapled books complete with titles, chapters, and an author picture and bio. And she sent her first novel, 75 pages, when in 2nd grade, to Harper and Row (now Harper Collins). Although they rejected it, she persisted, and three decades later, Harper Collins published her first novel, Good Enough.
