I actually saw the rest of video on the OG creator's channel! The good news is the drone still managed to barely fly back, even with some damage to the propellers! :)

It's crazy that despite seemingly getting hit by flying lava, the drone landed safely(ish) on the ground nearby. It will probably die shortly, which is sad, but it's cool that it lasted for the slow painful death *near* the lava instead of the cliche "oops" and falling in the lava

for anyone wondering, he did actually get it back. although it started spinning at the end, the rest of the vid showed how he managed to steer it back to him and the only damage was a few missing fins and burnt marks.

so overall, he got to keep the drone in ok condition, and get a glorious video. so win-win 👏👏
