It looks great apart from all the piano black. It’s one thing i dont like in my current vehicle, the piano black shows up all the dust and fingerprints.

Love that Type S - When you opened the door, I was dreading having to see the so often overplayed red highlights...No Red Stitching! Just the most fantastic interior...Kudos Acura Design!

those who complain of touchpads are usually who don't drive a car with a touchpad. Touchpads are easy to get used to and far superior navigating while driving rather than touchscreen!

22 MDX advance owner here. This is the proper exterior look for an advance… no black plastic trim but color keyed. I didnt like the look of that grill though… reminds me of integra. Finally an open bumper air dam and Acura mentioned before that closing it (previous model) has no effect. Love the new touchscreen but I prefer the trackpad and I was expecting they will have both feature. Thanks for the review!

Took away my favorite feature. The wrist rest with the most conveniently placed volume knob. The ELS stereo was amazing. Not sure why they changed it.

What they needed to fix:

- No padding on the door elbo rest.
- AC was not very strong for hot days. Kept the sunshade closed to keep UV out
- nowhere for wallet and keys
- 115v outlet only had 2 prong.
- Lane keeping was terrible.
- speed sign recognition was always wrong
- no light under the hood

Other than that I loved that car in 2023

Hah. Love Tommy's personality. Love these updates. Just wish for a few more to make it perfect: 2nd row vents in headliner, 3rd row vents, lockable rear underfloor storage for security. Otherwise, the Type-S is at the TOP of my shopping list, especially in that new Urban Gray color.

Tommy has really come into his own. Great video.

Pretty intuitive. Type S with an exhaust would be an insane family car

Finally! if it's anything like Lexus which did this a few years ago, the Japanese back home never understood why the old system was so terrible.

how is the spare tire space saver size when it’s AWD? Wouldn’t that mess with the transfer case

Is that memory seating for the passenger? That's freaking sweet.

I think they should have still kept the touchpad. I think having the option would have been better. Most vehicle gives the option.

ELS was also great! great changes! Was expecting piano black plastic replacement for Type S.

No the first thing we noticed and everyone else will be glad to welcome ...is . NO MORE MOUSE PAD. GONE IS THE OLDE LEXUS SYSTEM.. finally a touch screen. Has long been waited for .

I guess I’m in the minority here, but I really don’t like touch screens when driving. Takes too much effort to focus on what you’re trying to touch. Mazda, Mercedes, BMW got it right. After driving with those systems, I never want to go back to regular touch screens again. Feels way too archaic

Wish they would bring the hybrid back, or go for a plug-in. Always liked these suvs, but the mileage needs to improve.

Maybe I missed it will the infotainment changes go to the other vehicles as well such as the RDX?
