Dexter is one of the best series I've ever watched. So glad I watched it from first season and not the renewal first. Everything makes sense - the characters feel alive and I like how past trauma affects them (especially for Deb). There is a sublte sense of plot armor forDex but it's still believeable how he manages to evade every time.

I almost cried when Cody hugged Dex to say goodbye 5.1+2 hit different than any other major death in other shows. Benz' performance as Rita was flawless.

0:39 FUN FACT!: Dexter actor Michael C. Hall is now only one year younger (52 years old at this moment 2023) then the actor who played his step father Harry was at the beginning of the show in 2006 (53 years old). how life flies past! and im as old as Debrah was in 2006 (27 years old). and i really dont wanna be 42 years old but some day i will, (hopefully.. i guess? xD)
