When I saw her come out, I saw her hair straight away. It’s blue with orange flames I thought to myself. I couldn’t help but think that was a way of shredding her as Sasha Banks and ‘burning it’ per say. Not too sure if it was intentional or anyone else caught that but I thought it was super interesting

I'm actually sad that I don't get to see Sasha Banks in WWE anymore but I'm stoked to see what she can do in New Japan. Exciting to be a wrestling fan.

Honestly, I think she’s going to start her own tweener-heel leaning faction and I’m here for it. It’d be so sick to see her where she belongs; top of the food chain. I think Naomi (probably just called Trinity which sounds dope as a wrestler name anyway) will help her win in San Jose and join her to start a new faction. We know Japan LOVES factions, that’s the whole template of NJPW and Stardom.

I wish Nakano and Kairi could’ve gotten more time. Especially with New Japan knowing there were more eyes on this show, give someone like Nakano a bit more. She did great, just wanted more then what felt like 5 or 6 minutes of a match. Imo

My theory on who Saraya's tag partner will be is either Statlander or Rosa. Though IF it were Sasha/Mercedes that would be epic, just given the history between Saraya/Paige and Mercedes/Sasha. I can't see Sasha just popping up in AEW though as she'd HAVE to be shoehorned into the main event scene, because I mean where else in the women's booking would she logically fit.

My only gripe about Mercedes, (yeah I know OH BOY), is wish she debuted as a different personality. She’s basically the Sasha personality just not called Sasha, it really cool if want the same nostalgia even though she isn’t old enough to be considered but she really needed to be a more different defined personality to be less WWE like.

Pretty universally panned debut by fans online. Outfit was weird, hair was weird, promo was WWE dont work in Japan, song was bad, new name was odd, botched the move. Really really poor debut, add the big anticipation and wow a bit of a flop.

Yet WrestleTalk with their toxic positivity has a different perspective.

It is so amazing that Mercedes Mone/Sasha Banks is now in NJPW. I am so excited for her match against Kairi, considering I just recently bought tickets to go with a friend of mine and I'm gonna be there live for it. This run with her in NJPW is going to be amazing to watch.
