Just a thought if you ever want to try the opening door on a nail again, try making a ribbon hinge. You could use one wide ribbon or a couple thinner ribbons and attach them with the acrylic. It should allow you to get a closer fit on the door and maybe fit the charms underneath.

So while I was watching your video, I searched “ miniature, working hinge.” Think Barbie size. The search came up with a bunch of itty-bitty hinges. Maybe next time you can order some ahead of time and have tiny little hinges. Even if you had to use two, you might have better luck. I think that advent calendar nail was the coolest thing I have ever seen. Your draw my nails are my favorite. I am not creative enough to send it in any ideas but the creators are amazing. This set was by far my favorite. I just got out of the hospital so I’m a little late but Merry Christmas. Wishing you and David many blessings.
