When gapping an inward opening door using the width of your adz (15:1 MA), use the full 2” width/spread of the adz. This manoeuvre probably won’t open the door fully, but it will hurt the lock. Then I switch to the length/spread (6”) of my adz (5:1 MA) to finish the door.

If it’s a tough door and I can’t get the 2” of spread on my initial gap, I’ll switch to the forks and have an axe firefighter drive them in.

Got no idea why but why do Halligan and forced entry videos have the biggest haters in the comments. Ive seen like 6 videos now and all of them different channels have crazy hostile comments for no reason. Great video! Thanks for posting and teaching. I would love to see a video about forced entry in typical industrial glass doors like heavy glass doors in malls or apartment complex parking lots etc, other than shattering. I think these doors have stronger locks like shopping complex doors, would love to see how this works. Or even roortop access doors on apartments
