Caitlin Clark plays the exciting style of basketball that makes fans want to watch her.
I am a big fan of MMA and the UFC. In the early days of the sport, fighters specialized in just one fighting discipline like stand-up or jujitsu, or muay Thai. Some preferred to fight on their feet while some preferred to take their opponents to the ground. Fans got bored very quickly with the latter style and wanted to see exciting fights. MMA has evolved. Fighters MUST be proficient in many styles. Fans will only pay repeatedly to see exciting fighters, not boring one-dimensional ones. Caitlin Clark is skillful in all aspects of the game and able to score from anywhere on the floor, not just from 2 feet from the basket. But, like any great player in a team sport, she needs teammates who are smart enough to understand that their role is to enhance her game not to overshadow it. And, she needs a coach smart enough to build a team around such a generational player.

Caitlin is an all-around player and knows how to run a court, she breaks all kinds of different records a great passer, now just try to compare Reese to Clark you can't, and Reese knows it. I am worried this propaganda is being used to rob Clark of the ROTY or to have it be a shared award with the less deserving Reese. Reese’s double-double streak not only is being used to prop Reese, but the streak was also fraudulent as opposing teams were complicit in fouling Reese at the end of a game as she didn’t even have 10 points and she was credited with a 10th rebound in a game when she was standing out-of-bounds!

the league must look and support players like Caitlin Clark who have excellent stats and fundamentals and at the same time has the star power making each and every game exciting. It does not have to be one aspect (star power) as against another aspect (stats). In Caitlin Clark, you have both.
