How to Find Gold With a Metal Detector in Creeks

In this video, I'll show you the best way to quickly and easily find gold using a metal detector. Literally any meatal detector can be used to do this so long as you have access to a creek or river that has gold on it!
In this video i am using the Gold Monster 1000 VLF machine by Minelab. Its a very capable machine and extremely sensitive in the right circumstances. This is how I use mine to find gold quickly.

Liked this, Chris, that the detector aids finding spots, and also add to that the halo effect of other heavies associated with gold, lead! We've experienced our Equinox 600 go off loud but not displaying any numbers with a tiny roundy, it was a bit of gold, although we were actually detecting for relics. Cheers, Vogus! When I think of all the times I had gone hiking miles back into the Colorado Rockies in areas that were heavy gold producing sites, had camped next to many streams, creeks, and waterways in remote areas that must have had ounces of gold just sitting there, and I was totally unaware it would be there.

12:14 ok I’ll play and go heavy .61 g back to the reveal…missed again dam the chunky bits lol in my area I can use the gold monster to find sections of the creek with large black sand deposits by using setting right before auto 1 then I go through those to get the gold out of them some are more loaded than others. It came with an 8 and 12 inches coils! Blue tooth, headset, rain cover etc...! Good video Chris. I struggle to use my monster to detect in my creek. So much ironstone and mineralisation in the gravels. But it does indicate the heavy for sure 👍
