One thing that stood out to me was the dynamic of house Frey. Not only is Sabitha present for the meeting with Jacaerys, she is also an equal participant in the negotiations for the alliance. She’s taken seriously as someone in a position of power rather than being belittled or shoved aside simply because she’s a woman. It’s a definite contrast to how most of the other female characters are treated.

I really think the show is building up alicent to some sort of big breakdown as she starts to feel smaller and smaller by everyone around her

Ive been convinved since the first appearance of Alys when she is the only one not to bend the knee to Daemon that she is not seen by anyone except Daemon

You can see that Cole expected ppl to cheer when he paraded Meleys' head but instead there were whispers of displeasure. No Targaryen can disrespect a dragon like that. It's obviously Cole's stupid plan to show strength but instead he has mortolized the dragons in the eyes of the small folk. Now the fear aspect they had of dragons is slowly deteriorating. "I thought the dragons were gods" "It's just meat" Those two statements show the shift in mindset

Visenya was on another league . She knew battle she could fight and was fearless. Rhanerya is way too diplomatic. Had this been visenya as the heir to the throne no one would dare have contested against her. She was a wise snd fearless warrior

This episode may have been slow however it was necessary. This is a complicated storyline and with all the changes I really like that they give us a full hour of plotting and focus on the aftermath after a major plot point. We need to see how this huge loss causes each side to make or decide on their next moves. These episodes are important.

When Aegon softly and weakly spoke "Mommy" after Alicent had already left the room, man I felt so bad for the guy because at his core, Aegon is still just a kid who really only wants love and appreciation from his family, especially his mother. Things his father, King Visery's I, evidently never gave him when he was still alive. Such a sad and tragic character Aegon is turning out to be.

The actress who played Alyssa is beautiful. Alys may also be the main ghost of Harrenhal, would be an awesome twist/change from the book.

I like mysaria being on rhaenyra side definitely makes the dragonstone scenes more interesting.

I gotta say Emma D'arcy has been killing it for me. The expressions and mannerisms when Jace returned and you could very easily tell Rhaenyra was pissed and not hiding it very well, but trying to nonetheless
