She deserves to be paid a fair sum for her work.

So the Supreme Court just made a decision which will cause the original of that Warhol artwork to increase in value 10X… Best thing that could have happened to whoever currently owns it.

And I'm sure Andy Warhol paid Campbell for using their Soup Cans as his subject!

I'm so confused. Aren't there more important cases that the Supreme Court should be occupied with?

Warhols constant use of images that weren't his was part of his approach as a painter and when it was limited to a one of a kind art object, a legit case for artistic use. As soon as it's in mass production and Warhol or his estate are getting a license fee then copyright laws apply.

Well thank god. Our country has nothing better to do. We're just twiddling our thumbs in a pool of tranquility.

All art is a copy of something. Even her picture was a copy of prince's face.

I needed a profile pic... What gives.. it was placed on public display to be photographed.. it's a pretty cool statue.. just don't kneel to it.. it was at the At&t headquarters in New York now it's in Dallas.... How could I not photograph it... It's a little piece of NY right here... Maybe we should relocate the statue of liberty to corpus Christi?
