Custom Magic Set - Touhou Project - Join the Open Beta!

All test cards were created in English and will remain so for the final custom set with full art cards. By now all the illustrations are made by me, but there is a lot of great fan art out there in the wild to use.

Touhou Project is a great example of fan content being the main source of new artworks, music, stories and games for its fantastic japanese world of Gensokyo with many well known characters like Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, Cirno, Sakuya, Ran Yakumo, Reisen, Nitori and many more.

Since its creator ZUN, single man indie developer of the main Danmaku Shooter games, prefers fan content over big companies working with his IP, Touhou project was the perfect candidate for me to create a full free for all Limited playable Magic: The Gathering Set with 275 unique new cards, 3 new mechanics (Double Dealing, Spell Cards, Airborne Token), 10 themes for draft and sealed and many new legendaries to build custom commander decks around.

Now I need your help to test the gameplay. Do single cards or the main mechanics have rules issues? Are some too overpowered or too weak? Feel free to edit every card as you like and send me feedback on how to improve the overall experience of playing with the set.

So far these look neat and love the flavor of some of them, like how Ran can use her ability to grab Chen. My one bit of feed back is that the "Cherry Tree Fairy" actually has an official name, its "Lilywhite". She's my favorite of the Touhou characters so I'm overjoyed to see her as a card.
