Tear Trough Fillers

The undereye area is a very sensitive area for treatment 👀, and I’m very conservative in treating it for the following reasons (These are just MY reasons, not a general rule for every injector)..

1️⃣ Undereye area looks better with a little “under-filled” than a little “over-filled”☺️

2️⃣ All fillers love water to different degrees, so they tend to swell after a salty meal, a prolonged flat position, etc. In other areas of the face that’s not usually noticable, but under the eyes where the skin is thin, can result in puffiness.😎

3️⃣ If you have good raised cheeks, especially medially. Filling the undereye to match it may cause the eyes to look smaller. 😕

Bottom line, Not everyone is a good candidate for undereye filler. This lady was because she has a significant depression at a young age, but I would still encourage her to do plasma and use topical products as well to help with the pigmentation…
