Thank you Professor Benjamin ;) I’m often in debates in comments sections on other sites. Unaware Socialists/ communists defending intersectionality and CRT. Due to the discussion points Carl has armed me with, I bring up the fact Gramski was a communist and his ideology is a tool to attack the west. After the usual tantrums and personal insults I challenge them to research their ideology and its connections to communism. It’s usually the end of the communications.

I hope one day Carl trolls the world by doing black face live on a podcast. Let the salt flow, then the endless narrative collapse when Carl plays his Ace.

Sowell is one of the progenitors of the idea US Black culture is actually a scotch/Irish culture, and very foreign to cultures in Africa. Which makes sense when you talk to someone living in the hood, and someone who immigrated from Africa.

The fact of the matter is that in the US the vast majority of people, regardless of their gender, race, or religion, depend solely upon themselves in regards to whether they'll fail or succeed.

Before the birth of the US and the society created by our Constitution, individual success or failure was rarely dictated by the individuals themselves. On the contrary, an individual's success or failure depended upon the lot or station in life they inherited from their parents. If you were born high, you'd remain high, if you were born low, you'd remain low... and nothing you as an individual could do could change that (with very few exceptions).

Like you say, this fact is obviously a problem for critical race theorists.

There is an interview with Thomas Sowell where he says something to the effect of "When we start talking about household incomes I know we aren't being serious" Household income is one of those things that is a terrible measure of just about anything.
