I watched the original Pit Stop and my thought was they were referring to the beard showing through the makeup. Sometimes the queens are in makeup for 12 hours and they need time to take care of business. Production barely lets them go pee (Thank you Sasha Colby, lol). Bearded queens have been around for a long time. I love Gingzilla!

Its always the fans that take this too far. Violet and Trixie are allowed to have their own views of drag. Personally im not much for hairy drag. That doesn’t make it right for fans to take it the extra step and harrass our queens. All drag is valid but not all drag is for everyone 🤷🏽🤷🏽

I wish they had just done a Canada All-Stars instead of vTW. Like you said, it's not fair with people like Eureka getting 4 chances (well 5 cos she was eliminated and brought back in AS6) while others get no chance. There are so many more worthy people than Eureka.

the way ciswomen can grow facial hair (hirsutism anyone?) but due to beauty standards and social pressure they have to remove it. like growing up being a teenage girl bullied for thin shadow of "moustache"... i tried so many methods of removal, i ripped my skin open because of overwaxing, i have scars on my face 🥲 bearded queens are super cool to me! facial hair isn't unfeminine, let women live

it isn't really trixie and violet's comments that are the "problem", like yvie said, its the "fans" who hears that and then think its ok to say that to bearded queens or sent them hate because of it. T and V was joking but media illiteracy is a big problem now.

The problem isn't that people have differing opinions. It's ok to have your own opinion on something and to voice it if it isn't harmful to anyone else. The problem is that you get people who see this stuff online then think it's ok or appropriate to start sending abuse to other people. They're taking someone else's opinion and using it to make themselves feel all self important

Trixie was joking. Violet was almost dead serious. The only reason it’s being a big deal is because ppl don’t like Violet. Had any other queen said this it wouldn’t have been taken so seriously

many queens have been turning down invitations to return because they’re afraid of possibly going home early, tarnishing their reputation, and losing fans + current bookings. also, some queens around the world might not know enough english to compete in vs the world

Canada has casting laws for Canadian television in which a majority of the cast has to be Canadian. That’s why the judges are usually never from around the world on the panel in addition to the majority of the cast being Canadian. Honestly, they have a limited rolodex of true worthy Canadian queens to have the crown. Hopefully more international queens are cast and they can drop the teaming drama by country seen in previous seasons and bring something new like sabotage lol
