Drone video released by Ukraine shows Bakhmut in ruins

A Ukraine army drone showed the embattled eastern town of Bakhmut in ruins.

The footage, released on 24 March, shows massive destruction in a residential area of the besieged town in the Donetsk region. The location of the footage is verified, but not the date it was filmed.

Bakhmut is a major Russian target as it attempts to fully capture Ukraine's industrialised Donbas region. At one point Russian, commanders expressed confidence the city would fall soon but such claims have tailed off amid heavy fighting.

When ever I think life isnt going that well for me I look at drone footage of the aftermath in places like bakhmut. It puts a lump in my throat.. So many lives and families destroyed.
