What else should I cover in the Ultimate Tutorial series?

Biggest use for buffer chests is that if you include buffer chests in your designs with materials used to build that blueprint then logistics bots can help bring materials closer to the build site. Normally logistics bots couldn't get involved in construction but this enables them to.

I'm a non-native speaker and I can say you have been improving a lot, I must say I can watch your videos without subtitles and understand everything.

Some advanced insights:
- When connecting inserters to logistic networks, make sure they are in logistic networks, otherwise you'll wtf for some serious time. They don't give that flashing warning like the chests.
- only logistic bots can supply you or remove items from the trash slots, BUT construction bots can pick up items from your personal trash slots if that satisfies a building request.

I will never get tired of Trupen hiding his tastes in plain site.

I unlocked bots for the first time a day before this came out. Fantastic timing lol.

One other important thing is order of heirarchy with the logistic chests. Bots will first take from active provider chests, then storage or buffer chests, then passive provider chests. You can also set a requester chest to be able to request from buffer chests to fulfill logistic reauests.

Great overview! Also btw I saw a couple of your old videos a few days ago and I noticed the improvement in English made in these years, right now apart from a few words you sound pretty good, keep it up!

active provider chests are also useful for sending back empty barrels

Please don't use bots to unload trains 😅😅

You can copy recipe requirements to requester chests?!! Factorio will never ceise to amaze me.

One of my favorite hidden gems is that copy paste has a history and works like a blueprint book. So you can scroll back through things you've copied. It's really handy for switching between components without ever needing to specifically use a blueprint.

"I'm still using the old version of factorio", said Trupen two months before the release :) I see you're playing the long game. In every meaning of this word.

Best use I have found for buffer chests has been with my concrete and landfill production plant. At the entrance to the plant, I have requester chests asking for raw stone. This is so when my bots are clearing rocks, or I am tearing down an on old build that used raw stone for something, the bots will carry the stone to be fed into my concrete/landfill production line.

In addition to this, the landfill itself is fed by requester chests as well. This means some of my raw stone needs to be fed into a logistics chest of some kind. I don't want the input chests to the concrete plant drawing raw stone from these chests. So in this case, I use buffer chests and then over at the landfill requestor chests, I check the box for "Request from Buffer Chests". In this way, I avoid my bots flying raw stone from the stone supply to landfill back to the start of the raw stone conveyor belts.

I have a blueprint book just for deconstruction planners, because there's a few good ones. Rocks and trees only, for clearing ground. Items on ground, for a few dropped items or if you unequipped power armor with a full inventory. Building ghosts only, to remove blueprints without deconstructing other things. Everything _except_ power poles, storage, and roboports for deconstructing that doesn't mess with it's own infrastructure. You can set it to whitelist or blacklist, depending on what you need.
