This is the final last ending scene of the Series Finale of the mid 80s to early 90s TV show Growing Pains. It comes from Season 7 Episode 24 - 7x24 - S7E24 - The Last Picture Show: Part 2. It's a very sad scene. This was a favourite show of mine growing up. I was very sad to see it end.

For me as kid or a pre teen in the early 90's I watched all these "endings".
The early 90's was the end of an era for great tv

1992 was a pretty tough year for TV. A lot of shows ended that year. "The Cosby Show", "Night Court", "The Golden Girls", "MacGyver", "Who's The Boss?" and of course "Growing Pains". And Johnny Carson retired.

So yeah, it was quite a year for TV.

The title to the series finale ''The Last Picture Show'' really lived up to its title. It serves as a both humorous and bittersweet ending to an almost perfect show. The show was great in the first half of its run but sub par in its second half. But this finale was really emotional. Seeing that empty house/set really made the tears come down.

Greatest show EVER! Every child should grow up watching this. So many life lessons and shows how parents should communicate with their kids.

No scene in television history made me cry as much as this one. It still does.

I love this show with many others that aired from the mid 1980's to early 1990's at the time! But I think the writers did very well with making this a Very Emotional ending especially when Maggie takes the pic off the fire place mantel and Mike name is written on the wall. It pulls at your heart strings. And to me represents and end of a era in my Life around this time in 1992 when this last episode aired. To me the year of 1992 represented an end to my child hood and the start of my adult hood . And to me this show was a BIG part of the era in my personal life, so the emotional ending not only represented a GREAT end to one of my favorite shows but also represented an ending to my child hood, Which this show was part of. And for that I am Truly thankful for this show being part of my life Growing Up!

I finally got to see the finale of this show that I watched every week in the 80's.. Didn't even know they had a fourth child.. sad, but brings me closure to know after all these years how this show ended

Every sitcom that’s ending always has an episode about that they sold the house and are now moving and everyone is very sad to leave and are saying things like “we’ll this is it, 15 great wonderful years in this house” and cry as they head out the door and shut the lights off. That sadness is contagious every time.

Sunlight from 30 years ago. So sad. Not real sunlight, but studio lights. Still the same. End of an era. "The luckiest dreamers who never quit dreaming."

I am crying in 2021. I remember this like it was yesterday. I watched it live and I cried like a baby. Then 2 days later my grandpa died. Sad couple of days

Loved this show growing up. This is when they made the best comedy shows. Todays shows suck by comparison

Jeremy's last line as Ben, when the question is raised about seeing who the future occupants of the space might be:

"I'd rather not know."

Good stuff, and well delivered by Miller.
