Xpeng is one of a handful of Chinese companies leading the way in the development of low-altitude electric vertical take-off and landing vehicles or #eVTOLs -- battery-powered aircraft that can take off and land vertically. From the Macau BEYOND Expo, CNN's Kristie Lu Stout speaks with the president of Tesla rival Xpeng, Brian Gu, about how his company plans to soar ahead in the flying car and (non-flying) EV race. Gu believes only 10 carmakers will survive the global EV battle. What is XPeng doing to make it in this tough market? It's betting on smart EV features to stand out from the competition.
