From season 5, this fight opposing Kraken to Black Dragon was very technical, and went to the judges!

Show Synopsis: With all the thrills and edge-of-your-seat tension of a major sporting tournament, combined with the latest in robot engineering and larger-than-life inventors, BattleBots has viewers of all ages gripped.
In pairs, bot inventors go head-to-head inside the perilous and bullet-proof BattleBot arena, with the aim of destroying or completely disabling their opponent’s machine.

That was a close match.. Kraken dominated, but didn't do much visible damage. Sounds like the crowd thought Kraken deserved the win.

Kraken has the best control in this fight, but damage points ARE the real deal. Black Dragon did great damage but Kraken resisted insanely well from BD's saw. Though, Kraken's tooth WAS a little loose... Should've gone to the dentist first 😂

Kraken can easily move opponents to traps. But having a weapon inside the mouth like a one-time spear would be great. After it gets a good hold, the spear thrusts like a bullet.

A body like Kraken's couldn't carry a power weapon like a saw so it goes with a flamethrower instead. I think Kraken can carry a one-time spear, maybe it's powered by gunpowder (idk if gunpowder is allowed, I saw a bot with a one-time spear so that part's allowed at least hehe) because that won't require heavy complex machinery armed inside a body like Kraken's.

Im not even sure if it would be possible for Kraken to score more than a 1 for damage and with a bot that’s gonna go to decision almost every time that seems like a really bad strategy

Kraken doesn't understand that a dragon is immune to flames. Such as when they spent an entire 3-minute match on fire and didn't die.

This was a very close fight and was a big talking point of the season. Until the "bikerack" happened.

If Kraken can implement a saw inside their jaws, then they may have a better chance to win.

I think the way you look at it is that even though kraken controlled the fight black dragon would be able to fight after with less repairs since it was fairly obvious that kraken was not able to bite down any more meaning they have some serious damage done while black dragon was still almost completely functional I feel people didn’t agree with the results because it appears like kraken dominated the fight but I feel that kraken wouldn’t have been able to do anything but hold black dragon while black dragon could still fight
