Rod’s best song is Maggie May.., but this is my FAVORITE Rod song...by far !

... the beauty is his voice ( it sounds like he swallowed a broken whisky 🥃 glass ! ), its lyrics and the “looseness” of the band.., it just flows.., Micky on drums, playing behind and in front of the beat ( I’ve been playing drums professionally for 41 years ).., Pete Sears on Saloon piano and Ronnie on the Chuck Berry inspired riffs and playing bass ( just like a guitarist.., plays only one string at a time, and with a pick ! )

This ain’t Mozart.., but it’s
“ Magical “ in its innocence and purity. Rolling Stone ‘ranked’ this album 172 out of 500.., I think it’s top 20, easily.., and if someone said “ Top 10 albums, EVER !” I would not disagree...
